The My Family is very simple to teach. Pre-teach the vocabulary using the flashcards (see above). This song can also be used to teach the simple sentences, "This is my mom." You can have your students draw a picture of their only family, and show it to the class using the vocabulary in this song.
You can ask your students questions like, " Do you have any brothers or sisters?" The students can respond like this, " I have one brother" or " I have one brother and two sisters" or " No, I do not."
