The Dream English Animals Chants

I like to use this chant, then play a game where I hide either a flashcard or stuffed animal/puppet and ask the students to guess what it is. If they are older students (5 years and up) I will ask them to use the question phrase, "Is it a bear?"

Be sure to check out the Dream English song It's a Dog once the students are comfortable with the vocabulary.

The best way to use these chants is to practice the vocabulary a few times without the chant, and then play the chant for the students. I added some singing in the middle so the chant is more fun. This chant is part of the "Say Hello!" chant series. See below for lyrics. Enjoy.
