Game
Idea: This is a great game idea sent in by Mercedes
B. from Argentina. It's called the Manikin game:
I would like to tell you a simple game that I use when dealing
with Body parts.
I called it the Manikin Game
1- Form two groups and have them standing in 2 lines.
2- Select a kid from each group to be the manikin and stand
him/her at the front of the line a bit far away from the rest
of his group.
3- Place all the body small flashcards on a table or the floor
at the front of the lines so that the 2 first kids can see them
and reach them. Before hand, place some tape on the cards so
the kids can stick them later on.
4- Call out an item (e.g.: head) and have the two first kids
pick it up and run to the Manikin. He/she has to stick the card
on the correspondent part of the body.
5- The winner is the team who has more cards on its manikin.
My kids love this game!
