I love the story of the Tortoise and the Hare. It teaches a really important lesson, that it is good to keep going and try your best! Teaching Tips: Watch the video once through, and then ask your students to identify what animals they saw. If your students are not familiar with the animals, teach them the names of the animals.

Try to act out and sing the song. Have students take the role of the different animals.

This four part story is an engaging way to introduce the The Tortoise and the Hare story to your students, and ask them questions about what they say, and what might happen next? Students will love to guess what will happen next in the story!


Questions to ask your students: What animals can you see? What instruments are the animals playing? What did the Hare say to all of the animals? Is the Hare fast or slow? How about the Tortoise? What do you think will happen next?
