Fruit Song: I Like Apples

Teaching fruit is a great way to introduce children to the phrase, "I like...." Children are familiar with fruit, and the names are relatively easy to say. I also took the chance to introduce the word "yummy" which kids love to say! If you are teaching really young kids (1-3 years old) I would recommend using the easy version of the song below. You can simply put real fruit or use the flashcards and have them touch the fruit when it is sung in the song. For older kids, you can pre-teach the vocabulary and have them sing. See below for lyrics, the mp3's and printable flashcards.
