This is a great warm up song for any time of year. The lyrics are simple actions: jump, spin, hop, hands up and down. First do the actions with the kids, and then play the song! You can have the kids repeat after me, but soon they will be able sing together with me. This song gets really fun as it gets faster and faster!

Printables: MES English has some great free verb flash cards that match with the actions fo this song.

Game Idea: You can play Simon Says with this song. As the teacher, first be Simon. You say, "Simon says, jump!" and the students have to jump. Keep going in this way. If you do not say "Simon Says" before an action and the students do the action, they are out! For example if you say, "hop!" only with no Simon Says, they are out. Once the student get used to this, have them take turns being the leader.
