Rock Star Kids: Basic Questions

It is best to pre-teach the vocabulary in this song a few times before singing this song. One way that I do this is to have the students sit in a circle. We pass a ball around, and take turns asking and answering questions as the ball moves around the circle. Of course, the students fill in the blanks in the song with their own names, ages, and where they are from.

You can put your students in pairs and they can do this chant together. Or, you can do it as a big group.

Game Idea: Play this song and have the students walk in a circle. Pause the song after each set of questions. The students have to find a partner after the song is paused and ask the question they just heard. For example, "What's your name?" Then start the music again and go to the next question. Each time make sure the students find a new partner!
