Feeling Song: How Are You? From Kids Songs Volume 2

I have been using this song for several months now with my students ages 3-6, and it works really well. As a tip, during the bop, bop, bop part I ask the students to put their hands up, then sing bop, bop, bop. Next, hands down, etc.

I also first teach the feelings using gestures and flashcards. For example, for "I'm happy" I make a big smiling face, for "I'm hungry" I pat my stomache, etc. After you are done singing the song, you can simply ask the students, "How are you?" or put them in pairs and have them ask each other. See below for lyrics, flashcards, the song download and worksheets.
